Under the guidance of Shaun and Kim Ellis, you will embark on a journey that transcends the typical zoo encounter. Shaun, affectionately known as “The Wolf Man,” has dedicated his life to living with and learning from wolves. His deep, unconventional research methods have granted him unparalleled insights into these creatures, insights that he now shares with the world. Kim, initially captivated by the domestic dog, found her path intertwining with Shaun’s, leading to a partnership that blends their unique perspectives into a cohesive, transformative philosophy known as the Hemene Approach. This method emphasises natural development and fosters emotional and social balance, drawing wisdom from the wolves’ way of life.
The animals at the Centre are not exhibits; they are wild and free, living in an environment that mirrors their natural habitat as closely as possible.
